Desde o início do trabalho do AFBJ, o conceito do blog é claro e objetivo:
Levar música e cultura aos mais diversos lugares do mundo, sem ter que sair do lugar.
Quebrar barreiras geográficas e aproximar músicos dos seus ouvintes. E prover acesso à tudo isso, à quem antes não o tinha.
Since the beginning of the work of AFBJ, the concept of the blog is clear and objective:
Bringing music and culture at various places in the world, without having to leave the place.
Break down geographical barriers and bring musicians of his listeners. And provide access to all this, to those who previously had no access.

Do início do blog até hoje foram muitas conquistas, e também muitas discussões.
Isso porque, nós do AFBJ acreditamos em um novo modelo de consumo de cultura.

Não somos contra o aspecto monetário que existe na música.
Pelo contrário - acreditamos sim que os músicos que enchem o "tracklist" da trilha sonora de nossas vidas, devam receber seu dinheiro por conta disso.
Assim como acreditamos, que um modelo com menos intermediários, é mais produtivo para que produz e para quem ouve!
We are not against the monetary aspect that exists in music.
On the contrary - we do believe that the musicians who fill the "tracklist" from the soundtrack of our lives, should receive their money because of it.
Just as we believe that a model with fewer agents, should be more productive for who are producing and for the listeners!

Hoje, nós celebramos mais um passo à frente, na busca da criação desse novo modelo.
Hoje celebramos a parceria com os amigos da Colemine Records. Mais especificamente com Terry Cole, o dono e único funcionário da Colemine Records.
Today we celebrate another step forward in pursuing the creation of this new model.
Today we celebrate the partnership with Friends of the Colemine Records. More specifically with Terry Cole, owner and sole employee of Colemine Records.

Terry, é um cara de 25 anos, que tem outras obrigações profissionais, mas sempre foi apaixonado por música. A iniciativa de Terry em começar a Colemine Records, partiu da idéia de que "queria aproximar as pessoas que gostam de música, de suas músicas prediletas".
Terry is a man of 25 years, which has other professional obligations, but has always been passionate about music. Terry's initiative in getting Colemine Records, started from the idea that "he wanted to bring people who enjoy music, from your favorite songs."

Uma das coisas que chamou a atenção de nós do AFBJ, foi o conceito empregado por Cole, para o início das atividades da Colemine Records: "Não se trata de ganhar dinheiro, trata-se apenas de não perder".
One of the things that caught the attention of AFBJ, is the concept employed by Cole, to the top of the activities of Colemine Records: "It's not about making money, it's just about not lose it."

Essa á uma iniciativa, que ilustra bem o que esperamos das pessoas que estão envolvidas com a música de corpo e alma.
Não pelo empate na hora de empregar a grana. Mas pela consciência de que todo o processo é evolutivo.
That is one initiative that illustrates what we expect of people who are involved with music, body and soul.
Not for a draw to employ the money. But by the awareness that the whole process is evolutionary.
